Hello,
You should install network-manager in X11 environment. Then you can through GUI
network manament program to connect wifi.
But the question is why d-i doesn't do that automatically since wifi was
used during installation.

Hi,
im blind and been told to write to this list about an issue. I just
installed Debian 12.7 with espeak and during the installation i used
Wi-Fi, but after installation and rebooted, the computer was now
offline. I plugged in a network cable and found out, that the package
network-manager was not installed. - I installed with LXDE desktop
enovirement if that could be the reason for this behaviour..
Best kinds regards
Kenneth

My point is: for wired connections, d-i propagates the configuration to
the installed system, so you directly have networking working after
reboot without doing anything else on the installed system. It seems
that in his case that didn't happen. This looks like a bug to me.
